1. Their energy
I have been to a lot of concerts in my lifetime, and I have to say that Grouplove was one of the most energetic groups I have ever seen live. The energy started the second they walked out, dancing to a remix of "New Level" until they were yelling their hearts out to their very own "Colours." Not to mention, their energy was incredibly contagious and you could not help but feel it throughout the entire show, and it was a unique energy I had never experienced before Grouplove.
2. Getting to dance my heart out (like a fool, probably)
Clearly, Grouplove is one of those groups that you can dance to until you can dance no more. Trust me, I have done this in my own living room and was definitely not disappointed when it was live. It was so much fun to let go of life's struggles and just be there with Grouplove and their fans and just have fun. Everyone who was there jumped, danced, sang and just let loose and it was seriously so much fun. Also, Hannah has some of the most amazing dance moves, just sayin'.
3. Connection with their fans
You know when you watch an artist perform or look at a piece of art and you can tell exactly how much their art means to them? That is literally Grouplove in a nutshell. The love for their music is there and the love for their fans is as well. Not only did every member make a point to thank the fans, Hannah Hooper went the extra mile by dedicating their song "Welcome To Your Life" to a sick fan who was there to see her favorite band. They also met with her before the show and gave her a signed set list. Side note: it almost made me cry.
4. Yell singing
I mean, do I really need to say more? There is nothing more satisfying than getting to just yell your heart out at a concert. If you have not experienced this yet, you need to. It is even better when you are in a room filled with people that are yell singing just as passionately as you are.
5. Feel good vibes
This is something you get from just listening to Grouplove in general. I left their concert feeling happier than I ever have. There is just something about their songs and the lyrics in them that make for an amazing feeling. The fact that I could feel the same energy after such an energetic show, is amazing. I wish every concert was more like a Grouplove show and I think everyone deserves to see them live.
Lastly, I just want to comment on the fact that Hannah and Christian are the cutest couple I have ever seen live, I cannot handle it.
Okay, now that I have convinced you that Grouplove is as amazing as we all know they are, do not miss the chance to see them live next time they come around. You will not regret it.
