Born and raised in Wyoming, many people ask me how I ended up wanting to go into journalism and not something to do with agriculture. I'll save you the boring details and make it short and sweet: I love hearing people's stories and being able to share those stories with the world. Music has always been something that made sense to me too, so it only made sense to go into entertainment journalism. I enjoy writing feature pieces and hope to make a living doing it someday.
2017 - present
I have been writing album reviews for the online publication MXDWN since June 2017. This summer I also interned with Wyoming Public Media and worked on podcasts and script writing.
2014 - 2017
I have been working for the student media publication, the Branding Iron since my freshman year in college. I started as an arts & entertainment writer and then spent two years as the editor for the features section and help run the Instagram for the paper.
2014 - 2017
I worked in the student resource centers through the Nontraditional and Gender Programs department. I worked with nontraditional students and the LGBTQ and allies community.
